State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam is soon going to conduct Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the recruitment of 6662 Constable (AB/UB) vacancy in Assam Police for remaining 15 districts .

Accordingly, Assam Police is going to release Assam Police Admit Card 2021 w.e.f 20th August 2021 on SLPRB official website ( https://slprbassam.in ) . Candidates who have been shortlisted for PST / PET of Constable (UB) and Constable (AB) will be able to download their admit card from this page.

It is to be kept in mind that marks obtained by all candidates who have already appeared, shall remain intact and the PST/ PET drive shall be resuming only for the remaining candidates .

COVID Guidelines for Constable PST/ PET Candidates

State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has fixed a set of COVID-19 guidelines for all PST/ PET candidates. Candidates must follow these guidelines during their tenure at examination centre/s .

• Candidates are instructed to wear their own face mask during the test process.

• Candidates will have to maintain protocol of social distancing given by the Government during the examination process.

• All the candidates will have to wash / sanitize their hands properly before entering the examination premises.

Selection Process of ATEPFO Recruitment

The selection Process of ATEPFO Recruitment includes two stages.

Stage-I: The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an objective type test (Multiple Choice Questions 100 marks) to be held in FIVE ZONES of Assam - (Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Tezpur, Silchar and Guwahati) on a date to be notified later on. 

Syllabus for Stage I include:

i) General studies including current affairs, national and international — 60 marks.

ii) General English - 20 marks.

iii) Arithmetic — 20 marks.

Stage-II: Against each vacancy, five candidates would be shortlisted for Stage-II on the basis of the marks obtained in Stage I. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the following tests in Stage-II:

a) Computer test (English and Assamese typing) - 20 marks.

b) Writing ability test in English. Writing ability tests shall include drafting, precis writing, comprehension, essay, etc. - 30 marks.

Final Selection: Combined marks of Stage I (Objective Type Test) and Stage II (Computer Test and Writing ability test in English) secured by a candidate will be the determining factor for selection to the post of Junior Assistant.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the recruitment notification for Combined Defence Services Exam 2 2021 (CDS 2 2021) on its official website - upsc.gov.in. Check  educational qualification, age limit, selection process, exam pattern, application procedure.

UPSC CDS 2 2021: Recruitment: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the online application process for Combined Defence Services Exam 2 2021 (CDS 2 2021) on its official website - upsc.gov.in. All candidates who are interested to appear for UPSC CDS 2 Exam can apply from 04 August 2021. UPSC CDS 2 Application will b available till 24 August 2021 on UPSC Online Website - upsconline.nic.in.

The online Applications can be withdrawn from 31 August to 06 September 2021 till 6.00 PM All such candidates who would apply for UPSC CDS 2 will be called for online exam on 14 November 2021 (Sunday) . Nationality: Candidate must be unmarried and must either be:

(i) a Citizen of India, or

(ii) a subject of Nepal, or
